Muhammad Alshareef is a lecturer and Islamic scholar who has authored several articles and khutbahs on very important issues in Islam, especially those related to the West. He is a popular speaker in many Muslim circles in the United States, Canada, England and Australia.

Muhammad Alshareef was born in 1975 to Egyptian parents and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In his youth, he memorized the Quran and later graduated with an Islamic Law degree after 6 years attending the Islamic University of Madinah, class of 1999. He is the founder of Al-Maghrib Institute through which he teaches university-level seminars on Islam. Al Maghrib Institute seminars have been conducted across the USA and Canada, in 14 cities, and is the largest Islamic university-level educational system in North America.

While he continues to teach, Muhammad Alshareef now devotes much of his time to managing AlMaghrib Institute and EmanRush Audio. Muhammad Alshareef has also founded EmanRush Audio and Khutbah.com, and actively keeps in touch with the online community at the AlMaghrib Forums. He also has started PowerWorkshops through a website, www.powerworkshops.org.
